ROCKS AROUND THE WORLD
There are many rocks, stone, gemstones, crystals, etc all around the world, and there are some unique natural formations which have been formed by rocks. There are 3 main rock types sedimentary, ignous and metamorphic.
Sedimentary Rocks
Sedimentary rocks are formed when peices of Rock, sand, shells, and other fragments cement together and form layers. Sedimentary rocks form over a large period of time. They are generally fairly soft and easy to break apart and are fairly crumbly. sedimentary rocks also can contain partials fossils of animals and plants. Some exsamples of sedimentary rocks are limestone, sandstone, conglomerate, etc.

Ignous Rock
Ignore rocks are formed from super hot magma after it has heated to a liquid then cooled to a solid. Igneous rocks also have crystals that formed during the cooling process, ignous rocks with large crystals means that the magma has cooled slow to a solid, after it was heated, when Ignous rocks have small crystals that means it cooled fast. Some exsamples of igneous rocks are granite, basalt, diorite, etc.

metamorphic rocks
Metamorphic rocks are formed under ground form extreme heat and pressure. The heat and pressure melts together and forms a rock, and also forms ribbon like crystals through it. Some exsamples of metamorphic are marble, gneiss, slate, etc.
