wave rock
Wave rock which is located in Hyden in Western Australia is a natrual rock formation which is shaped as a wave. The "wave" is 14m high and around 110m long. The rock was formed 2.7 billion years ago before the dinosaurs! And is one of the oldest rock formations in the world. Wave rock was formed by extreme weathering over a period of time which then was smoothed over with water. It is mainly made up of red and grey granite strips but does contain other fragments of rocks, minerals, and fossils.
